Audio is arguably the most critical — and most frequently underestimated — element in any exhibit or venue experience. This guide explores speaker selection, placement, and the science of delivering great audio in challenging environments.
Speaker selection depends on the application: ceiling speakers for ambient audio, directional speakers for focused zones, subwoofers for immersive bass, and personal audio (via Lory®) for individualized delivery. The wrong speaker in the wrong location can ruin an otherwise excellent exhibit.
We use non-proprietary audio equipment matched to each specific environment. Our QuickSilver® platform can deliver synchronized, multi-zone audio with individual volume control per exhibit — creating clean audio zones without physical barriers.
